Power of Attorney

Power of attorney is a legal document that lets you name someone to make decisions on your behalf.  The document gives the ability to exercise authority for a person in all financial or legal matters. This appointment can be effective immediately or will become effective if you are unable to make decisions on your own. This type of legal document can be used if a person were to become mentally incapacitated or leave the country for a period of time stopping the court from being able to control any of your affairs.
